    China Glaze OMG Holographic

I have been on the hunt for the GOSH holographic polish and I can't find it anywhere. I guess this polish was not released in the US. Since I was so bummed about not getting the polish I wanted I decided to go the nail shop today during my lunch to release my stress. I may be putting my deli ma on a little thick but everyone knows I'm a little dramatic. Let me start by saying my manicurist talked me into buying about six polishes from OPI's Texas collection which was not my intention.Major dent in the pockets today along with my mani.

Out of the blue my manicurist showed me a polish she thought I would like and behold it was China Glaze's OMG holo polish. I was very shocked. Although it wasn't what I was looking for. It did the trick and made my day a little brighter. Of course I bought it. My 7th polish of the day. The polish is pretty but doesn't seem as strong as the Gosh brand. She used a based coat when first applied and I just read that they are best applied without a base coat and top coat. The color seems to be really smooth and flat. It almost reminds me of matte polishes. Indoors the color is not as stunning and you can hardly see the holo in the polish but against bright lights or sun  the color really pops. Check them out.I think my nails came out pretty darn good.

    Futuristic Jewerly

I first got wind of this designer reading an entry on concreteloop's website. Verna Fogg is a New York based jewerly designer that has been dishing out some really cool designs. her line is called Vina Amor. I'm so inspired to get my hands on one of these pieces. I feel in love when I saw the jewerly piece below called the Duo Wings Necklace. This necklace is priced at $100 but its a killer. Check out some of her other work with the pictures I have added below. Many celebs are rocking her pieces also. Would you wear her designs?

O.P.I. Yall Come Back Ya Hear?

This weekend I had a chance to use my Trade Secret coupon where if you like them on Facebook you get a free nail polish or treatment when you spend over $25. I took the chance and picked up "Yall Come Back Ya Hear?" I love how O.P.I. names their polish. They can get so creative. I picked this color because its one of their  sorbet colors. I have never tried a sorbet. Its a creme jelly finish. With the first coast I noticed that the color is very sheer. I used three coats and I could still see my nail line through the polish. No way was I going to add a forth coat. I do like the tangerine color and the fact that the color itself is very glossy. I absolutely do not like the sheer. You should only need about 2 coats for a solid color. I was very disappointed with this aspect of the color. I'm so glad I only bought one maybe I'll think about getting other shades from the collection or maybe not.

    Crackle by China Glaze

Crackle polish is the new trend in the nail polish world. Its so funny because I tried this polish in mid December. My manicurist talked me into it although I was not to fond of the trend. OPI recently released Black Shatter that is their version but it only comes in black. So now we have China Glaze that comes out with six different colors. In my opinion China Glaze is the winner for crackle polish because they have released more than one color. I'm little excited to get my hands on the collection. Here is a taste of what to expect.

    Gwyneth and her shoes

If you watched the Grammy's on Sunday then you saw Gwyneth Paltrow performing with Cee-Lo Green singing F**** You. Many were thinking what is she doing on stage singing with him? How did this partnership come about? It was sort of weird and her singing was very flat. The first thing that came to my mind was where did she get those shoes? Who's shoes was she wearing? I could not pay attention to the performance at all. My focus followed her shoes the whole time. Being the researcher that I am I found that they were Christian Louboutin called Retro Color Block Booties. These shoes are from the Spring 2011 collection. Check them out. These are my favorite of the moment.

    Pink! Pink!

In honor of Valentine's Day I thought I would bring back an old favorite of mine "Creme Pink" by Sinful Colors. This pink reminds me of candy. What really blew me away when I first wore this color was the gold shimmer tone. I'm such a sucker for gold anything gold.  Although I had nothing on to match my nails I didn't care because my focus for me was my nails today. This color always brings a smile to my face. Happy Valentine's Day!

    New design

Today I decided to redecorate my blog. It looked a bit cheesy to me and I felt like it didn't not express my personality at all. I decide to be lazy like the bum that I am and use a template. The template I found was perfect! The background has books and I love reading books. Since this blog is being used as a diary for me what better way to express the visual then with a background image of books. The color I chose was blue of course my favorite color of all time. I do like neon colors like I had before but it was not sitting well with me. I love the color blue because it is so calming and the neon green and pink just yelled out craziness. So what do you prefer do you think the previous blog with the pink and green was better? Or did I make a great decision to revamp it.
