Pierre Hardy Summer 2011

Today I came across the 2011 Summer Collection from Pierre Hardy. This collection is screaming for summer to arrive early. I hope that the gods above can hear these screams because this shoes are oozing their way into my closet. Unfortunately its still raining in my area so I don't think I will be able to bring a pair of these out yet. Every shoe is has a lovely design and the color combinations are to die for. One of my favorite color combo that this collection has brought us is Yellow and Grey. I'm a big fan of the bright colors this season pairing with white or grey. There are also corals, neutrals, and even a snake skin. Everything you could want for this summer is in this collection. None of this shoes had disappointed me. I couldn't put every shoe in my post but I have selected some of my favorites.

London Fashion Week AW11

London Fashion Week just wrapped up. I wasn't as excited as I was for New York Fashion Week but it's really great to see inspirations from different parts of the world. I have always wanted to travel to Europe. Although I'm not able to I can hope by viewing the collections from the Europeans. While browsing through Day 1 I started to yawn as most of the pieces seemed pretty boring. Maybe I'm still in the mood for Spring and I'm just not ready for Winter. One designer that stood out to me was from the collection of Sass & Bide. Great colors for winter. There were oranges, neutrals, and prints. Most of the collections from day 1 were involved trends in regards to below the knee skirts, fabric mixes, tailored dresses, wooden heels and pleated skirts. From looking at the photos you can tell that American Style is very different. But this is what I like that there are many interpretations of style. Remember this is only day 1. Can't wait to post the rest. Check out other photos that I selected from the different collections.

Cosmic Fantasy

Are you looking for a bit of stretch? I found a great looking dress at a clothing company based right here in the good old bay area. The company is an online clothing boutique called Nasty Gal. The prices are incredible and the clothes are vintage. Who doesn't love vintage! I fell in love with this dress when I saw it. The material at the neckline is made of mesh with a sweetheart detail. The print on the dress is amazing. The colors are bold and pop out at you. You will definitely turn heads in this number. This dress reminds me of gaseous matter created during "The Big Bang" made from the universe.
